Too Daring - Poem by Edwina Reizer
If I burn the candle at both ends
and don't extinguish the flame
will I only fool myself into thinking
that things will stay the same?
Things can never remain forever
when you play with fire.
But ah! , the pleasure while the candle's burning
is all that I desire.
