Tossed, Kicked And Thrown To Puncture Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Tossed, Kicked And Thrown To Puncture

Tossed, kicked and thrown to puncture.
And those who have been deflated,
Like abused balls slammed against walls...
Are often heard to express,
A forgiveness given to those they do not fault.

'Why do you continue to put up with this? '

~We've only been together a few years.
I'm sure after the adjustment period,
Both of us will settle down...
To understand which rules apply.
Since every situation does not require a busted lip.~

'And...
WHY do you continue to put up with this? '

~We've only been together a few years.
I'm sure after the adjustment period,
Both of us will settle down...
To understand which rules apply.
Since every situation does not require a busted lip.~

Tossed, kicked and thrown to puncture.
And those who have been deflated,
Like abused balls slammed against walls...
Are often heard to express,
A forgiveness given to those they do not fault.
