Touch Poem by Sindiswa Nobuntu Ndamane

Touch

You touch me by the toe,
But I feel your touch in my guts,
It must be magic.
The magic everyone thought was just a fairytale,
I never believed in fairytales
I still don't.
You make everything real,
You make me believe that I could touch something I thought I would not.
You have made me feel my heart in motion,
A motion that can soothe my blood,
That can definitely ease my body.
That touch by the toe,
It's what I need to feel,
It's what I need to heal,
If you could do it eternally
My greatfulness will go beyond boaders,
Even boaders of eternal life should they exist.
