Tracking The Extraterrestrials Amongst Us

Rating: 4.0

In shadows cast by stars above,
A nation's watchful gaze has found.
In covert ways, they seek to prove
The beings from beyond our kind.

Eyes keen, they trace celestial flight,
Through networks vast, their sights aligned.
Government's grip, both day and night,
Tracks beings wondrous and refined.

With satellites, they map the skies,
Piercing depths where secrets hide.
Codes decrypted, veils revised,
To trace the otherworldly race and kind.

Agents blend, in crowds they roam,
Observing signs beyond our sight.
Unseen hands guide, decode the tome,
Revealing truth, with cosmic might.

Their radars sweep, their sensors sniff,
Tracking traces left unseen.
For aliens amongst us, they'll sift,
Silent guardians, their vigil keen.

But veiled in words, this knowledge lies,
Hushed truths, unknown to most.
For they hide, beneath the bluest skies,
Their secrets kept, by the curious host.

Stanza 2; 'grip' or 'gripe'? I wonder. WHERE do YOU think I CAME FROM? ? ? ? From the ******************s, of course. ;)

stanza 3: 'satellites' I guess, .... if 'we' can have satellites (and GIANT TELESCOPES) in the 'skies', ...then THEY can play in the universe as well. Wouldn't YOU?

stanza 6: I wonder. does 'lies' here mean 'tells untruths' or does it mean 'reclines/rests'. Hmm? I waver aka 'go back and forth between', , , , [NOT 'waiver', which I thought was the spelling! ], ...giving 5 and 4 stars. Ok, I give 4.

James, Nice rhyming. This is, so far, my favorite stanza: 'Their radars sweep, their sensors sniff, Tracking traces left unseen. For aliens amongst us, they'll sift, Silent guardians, their vigil keen.'

'AI' stands for 'Artificial Intelligence', a 'new kid on the block' since I, Bri, was in school. I think! I'm not sure I will like it; I'm 'on the fence' over AI.

stanza 4: 'tome'? I found this [and I thought a 'tome' was just a LARGE book]! ! 'Tome - AI-powered storytelling' Will 'we' be replaced? ? ? ; ( bri
