Traditional - Morality Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Traditional - Morality

Rating: 5.0

In Beyond Good and Evil,
Nietzsche subjects past
philosophies to
withering criticism,
taking apart the grand
metaphysical systems
of traditional morality
as imprisoning the moral
sense and sensibility
of individuals, accusing
people of blindly
following dogmatic
premises instead of
engaging in a genuinely
moral behavior.

Love, compassion and morals (Ethics in todays's language) can not be defined by traditions. These time tested values transcend time in human nature.

Personal views are developed by a person during the course of his life with the genuine desire to keep his identity intact. But he fails to keep his moral victories over his genuine desires. So the conflict between his actions, emotions make him to keep a distance with truth.
