Trails Poem by Robert Miller

Trails

Rating: 3.5

i follow the trails of our past
walking down the street
all the lights feel familiar
i remember everything
all the things we went through
nothing seemed to bother
but the last months were different
i never thought we’d be enemies

what happened to us?
everything is different now
don’t you feel it disturbing
that I don’t even care?

This is a more traditional and common poem. It has the right structure and the message is clear. But a reader looking for something in a poem, will not find it here. GW62
