Traits Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Traits

Rating: 4.0

Chromosomes and DNA…
Carry information to this day
From ancestors in the past
The amazing library is vast

Characteristics that describe
Keep smiles and frowns alive
Traits a person inadvertently inherits
Can be detrimental or have merits

Keen eyes have improved perception
Observing an egg after conception
Instinctively the assembly line rolls
Life begins with history at the controls

I still love how you take the everyday things we look over or past and make me stop and think

Very good poem.. im fascinated by your inspiration to write on the topic of creation of life itself but even so it made a great read that was enjoyed very much! Take care, Mel xx

I just had to read this 3 or 4 times, very very clever. I like this one a lot.
