Tranquil Night Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

It was a wonderful night,
The atmosphere was serene and tranquil,
I completed my work and went to sleep,
But suddenly I remembered I had not yet written thee,
It was very important for me.
Soon l started to depict thee with great energy and spirit,
Glorious words suffused my poetic mind abundantly
And I wrote all these spontaneously,
Soon I finished a magnificent piece
And finally being happy and contented I became ready to sleep with great ease.
