Translucent Fairytale Poem by Josephine J.W

Translucent Fairytale

Rating: 5.0

Suspended above a riveting scene
Fathoming lovely things otherwise unseen
Eyes trailing over countless dewy mounds of green
As the blue of sky reflects serenity

Spirit drifting through seas of time
Searching listlessly for cadence in rhyme
Walking the forested pathway littered with thyme
As your nostrils betray the aroma

Dancing on walls besieged with ivy
Your precarious position leaves you privy
To the conflict ensuing below your own aloof levee
As your eyes mirror depth of sapphire

Alone in your translucent dreaming
Your fairytale free of all sorrow and screaming
Floating through time on glasses and prisms; orbs gleaming
As you waft on pointlessly happy
