Trapped Poem by Holly Somer

Trapped

Pushed back stuck in the corner
Blocked in with a chair
squished into the wall messing up my hair
Please don't leave me locked in like this
Loosing my head
Keeping me there for hours
Untill I curl into bed

Trapped
No way of moving
Or stretching out my limbs
Pull me away from the cage
Don't read on and turn the page
Cause there I'll be for hours and hours
with no food or showers

This description sounds like some hospitals I have seen and most nursing homes, everywhere! It is a nightmare to be trapped without help, especially if the patient cannot speak or walk. Good writing, keep writing. Thank you. Jeannie.
