Treacherous Serpent Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Treacherous Serpent

Rating: 5.0

In the dark and deep night
I was walking with my unconscious mind,
After moving a long distance,
I felt very tired and exhausted.
So I stopped in front of a beautiful rest house,
As I knocked the door of it,
A dark shadow appeared,
He scrutinized me minutely and then asked,
"Are you a man? "
I said, "yes."
Immediately he said to me,
"Then you will have to go back,
As we have no room here for the treacherous serpent."
