Trepidation Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

In Trepidation my Life dost begin anew,
As my Future slowly comes into view,
To see what YOU have planned for me each day,
And how I shall live it ~ come what may.

YOU have planned my Life since I was born,
Now waking me each morn before the dawn,
Setting my Mind to write in Praise of THEE,
In my bed since half past three.

Do I let my pen upon this paper glide?
Will I still be writing at five?
Verses in Rhyme and Scan,
To show my Faith in YOU ~ to every man.

Why tonight will YOU not let me desist?
How come these words do flow and flow?
How will this Poem end?
Only YOU LORD dost know.

LORD ~ I have no fear of what is in store,
Whilst breath is in my body I do know
That YOU are with me continually,
And I shall live each moment to serve THEE.
