If I toss a coin into the air
To determine my future action,
The result of which I should beware,
For it may not bring satisfaction.
It all depends on the side I choose,
Whether it be the face or obverse side,
For the wrong side will be of no use,
If it lands on neither side.
For it could fall between two things,
And rest neither side up,
It will then have to be tossed again,
Perhaps this idea, I should give up.
Why cannot I be decisive?
Make a decision, and stick to it,
Have the courage of my convictions,
Be brave, and not trust to luck.
Why must I toss that coin?
Hoping it will land near me,
Perhaps HE’ll take it from me,
And leave the decision to rest with me.

I like the first 2 verses, Jonathan. As for the other 3, I feel they could be enhanced with rhyme (as in the first 2) and more metaphorical language. Regards, Gina.
