in the silence of the heart
there is trepidations
a fear unknown.
a despair in every voice.
no one is ready to hear,
the voice from above,
on earth to stay.
to cleanse us from cursed,
mind and body,
to flower our wisdom,
turning into bliss,
to give the nectar of life.
the intense, intensity of work,
his agony, for mortal beings
making dungeons for own selves,
makes him weep in silence,
for, irrational scatterbrained people,
whose greed is more than their needs.
planet earth in turmoil,
slowly reaching a point of no return.
man still making transactions
with eternal,
putting stones on their hearts
to chastise their deeds.,
when time is running out,
showing, the end time is here.
Two things are very difficult to do in this mundane world,1-To get out of greed and attachment and 2-To realise life is very short and no one can carry all his belongings and wealth with him. Thus, this mad race.A striking poem, creates foceful and lasting imact. RATNAKAR ROUT
Deep down we know that even time is illusion, where appearance and disappearance of units take place, yes, the time is running out in a symbolic sense and yet who can stop the powerful magnatic pull of matter, only those who are awakened to the call of spirit and know the art of detachment. A thought provoking write, ritty, thanks for sharing!
Since Indira has commented about the second half, I would like to comment on the first stanza mainly! THIS FEAR OF THE UNKNOW IS REGARDED BY MANY AS THE FINAL CAUSE OFALL RELIGION! NO ONE HAS COME BACK FROM THE WORLD OF THE DEAD TO NARRATE! The great German Philosopher Schopenhauer, who had read the Vedas, said that the average man cannot reconcile himself with Death! Therefore he makes innummerable philosophies and theologies...an effort to make death somewhat palatable! Kindly read my 'Tribute to Schopenhaure'! THANKS FOR THIS POEM 10! -Raj Nandy
