Tribute to Father of the nation-Mahatma Gandhi

यदा यदा ही धर्मस्य, ग्लानिर्भवति भारतः*
Whenever the need arises on earth, I shall come, visit and crush the evils
free them from the atrocity
free them and grant the liberty

Shining stars, sometimes, descend on this holy earth
and make our lives worth living
they not only instil the confidence and faith
but give the slogan of living with truth till death

O! my father of the nation
I offer my sincere gratification
for granting us the freedom and independence
against all odds and with death incidences

Bapu you gave us everything
freed soul from bondage so to sing for a free nation
truth became another synonym
with you for the vision and wisdom

'Naked Fakir' Once British P.M.addressed
and disgraced his appearance
I am a representative from my country
and have come here for independence and liberty

Bapu lived for truth and faced the bullet
people and world leaders ask, what did he get?
he became Messiah for Indians
who gave us one of the powerful nations

his life is an experiment with truth
each line speaks and needs no proof
he gave us standing with roof
to stand with the international forum

have we followed his ideals?
and worked for the real,
has its name passed on to selfish hands?
do we find it with the selfish trend?
