Some poets can write a million poems,
And never say a thing.
They waste their words, and your good time,
Like lint on clothes, they seem to cling.
And then there are certain poets,
That can say it all so easily.
With just one poem, in their repertoire,
They set our spirits free.
Such a one John Gillespie Magee,
Will live eternally.
His poem'High Flight' is truly what,
Real poetry ought to be.
