Don’t shed a tear for me.
Move to a window, gaze out at the sky.
Although I am no longer near,
My life on Earth expended,
The world goes on.
For now, I am free of the pettiness and
Meaninglessness of life;
No more pain or suffering.
In spirit, I shall live forever,
Though all about me, silence lies.
My spirit shall transcend,
Somewhere else or here.
For, you see, I did not die.
