Trio Musketeers Poem by Onuora ilodibe

Trio Musketeers

TRIO MUSKETEERS
I can't forget the bouts we went through together
The rumble through the droughts and squalls
Brothers in arms battened hatches quell storms
Tomorrow by sunset change will come
Clung tenaciously subtle ray of hope
A light at the end of the serpentine tunnel
Shimmering at the harbor bluish harebell
Smoldering in a summery night
I resent the filthy habit picked up along street
Makes me sometimes jet lag or rather cold feet
Times to mellow I blow cancer sticks
My underground rail road to escape fits
Of hysteria, despair, regrets and loneliness
Slip back in time eyes closed in retrospect
Peaceful and perfect childhood memories
Was you Zacks and I, the mythical trio musketeers
