Trio Of Cowboy Songs Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Trio Of Cowboy Songs

A little Johnny Cash sliding down the guitar, slamming into
beating of the drums, rhyming and formulating measures of
time, supplying chords to them.

Riding those buckskin saddles as life continues to progress,
racing into the desert with a trio of cowboy songs, living in
their wonderful and talented boisterous melodies.

Singing along with them, joining the band with our voices,
picking up rhythms as we're all caught up in the music as it
touches us in places of desire and passion.

Being held captive and filled with feelings and emotions,
racing down railroad tracks, ready to pick us up and take
us into the desert of beauty.

There our hearts open up, taking every word deeply into our
beings forever, heart beating silently, enjoying reverberations
in musical rhythms, soothing beings from within measures of music.
