True Beauty Poem by Indira Renganathan

True Beauty

You are an empty poem
I study to find some real beauty
I'm but bored with a vacant darkness

Sown in mire lotus can bloom in your eyes
True beauty can not be just skin-deep
Brain, mind, thoughts and wisdom are godly

I grope for a wise lass only in vain
Better learn from the sunny lotus..than
Picking the fallen moon from the pond
