Christmas is a time of refreshing
When faith is born anew.
And, as gifts, blessings are given
Like the falling of the dew.

It is not the gleaming lights,
Nor the star atop the tree.
But the true spirit of Christmas
Brings pure joy to you and me.

The presence of the Father,
And all that He imparts.
The winsome oneness that ensues.
And the love that's in the heart.
