True Love - Poem by Jeanna Hooks

Why do you make me feel like this
It's been the very same since we kissed
I want to be near you always
I don't want this to be just another phase
Of false love and false hate
I'm hoping it's not too late
To tell you to take my hand
And be the only man
I could ever live for
I see us as so much more
Then other people can even imagine
I hope all these things I see in you
You can see in me
You bring me to my knees
Everytime we touch
Maybe this is too much
For either of us to handle
But in my heart I can only handle
The thought of you and me
This is how it must be
