True Loves Caress Poem by Garrett Binford

True Loves Caress

The most beautiful woman walked in front of me
But she payed no mind to the peasant me.
She was remarkable and stunning in her navy blue dress
Longing to feel true loves caress.

I wanted with all my being to be with she
To love with a love shared only by we.
If only a way to her success
To show her true loves caress.

But I a peasant and she a princess
Saw that no noble blood I did possess.
So I slipped away into the night
To feel the embrace of loneliness' fright.

That alone I did repress
To show her my true loves caress.
And no more did I confess
My true love for the beautiful princess.

So she went off with another he
Paying no more mind to me.
But she longed so much to express
That I was her true loves caress.
