Trump And Vance: an Unavoidable Disaster Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Trump And Vance: an Unavoidable Disaster

Rating: 5.0

Two figures stand at the helm,
one, a voice of thunder,
the other, an echo shaped by its force.

Promises scatter like leaves in wind,
words piling high,
none taking root.

A road paved with certainty
cracks beneath their weight,
but they march on,
undaunted, unheeding.

Eyes meet them with hope,
with fear, with doubt,
all swallowed in the tide
of something too large to stop.

The storm does not ask
if the shore is ready.
It comes,
and the wreckage
will speak for itself.
