Trump - Last Hurrah Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Trump - Last Hurrah

Rating: 5.0

6 January 2021
Trump Rally, Washington D.C.
Thousands attend

Trump commanded -
March to Capital Hill

They All obeyed,
Flags waving, voices raised
Old Glory flying high
A swarm of Red, White and Blue

Capital Security
Could not, would not
Fire on their own

They took the hill,
But to no avail
Lady Liberty cried

Lady Liberty should indeed cry over the mess that happened that day! Five stars!
