Trust In Or Believe Poem by Randy McClave

I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Clause or musk
In them I don't have any faith or any trust,
None of them brought me any happiness or gifts
All that I got from them was lies, broken promises and "ifs".
While they all got their praises and wealthier,
I and others instead got poorer and unhealthier.

I don't have faith in leprechauns the tooth fairy or trump
Them all I did happily ignore and did dump,
They are all cons, users and liars
All that they care about is their own wants, needs and desires.
They pretend that they are here to help us,
While they steal and lie and throw the workers under the bus.

I don't have no faith in any religion, pastor or church
Who puts trump or musk or any crooked politician on a perch,
They are not preaching of Jesus and Christianity
They are instead are teaching of greed, hate, insurrection and insanity.
Those who believe any of them are gullible and naive,
None of them do I trust in, or will I ever believe.
