Truth Cannot Hide Poem by Paul Sebastian

Truth Cannot Hide

Rating: 5.0

Truth cannot hide
No matter how hard you tried
You hide behind a lace curtain
Pretend the truth is unknown

Truth cannot hide
Dishonesty stems from pride
Fear of losing face
Fear of disgrace

Truth cannot hide
Behind thick-faced hide
Poker face makes you a fake
Masks can fall, integrity at stake

Truth cannot hide
It breaks, relationships slide
Pillar of trust crumbles down
Love in relationship drowned

Truth cannot hide
Under a mountain of lies
Truth always prevails
Shaming deceit trails

Truth cannot hide
Lies are Satan's pride
Truth shames the devil
Truth triumphs over evil

Truth stands on own conviction
Comes from your own volition
Stand for justice and truth
Stand for rights, for moral worth

Better to speak the truth and die
Rather than die many times, a coward
Better to ignore fear and its lie
Don't succumb to negatives heard

Better to stand alone for truth
Than stand among ignoble liars
Or be counted among those I loathe
Rather stand among the courageous
