Truth Hurts Wisdom Time Heals Poem by Terence George Craddock

Truth Hurts Wisdom Time Heals

the poet had written a poem
a simple poem not a complex poem
written with basic clarity wisdom

'A Well Trodden Path To Disappointment'

a theme message was clearly defined
'do not expect more from people
than people are capable of giving...'

people have time emotive restraints
people have ability financial restraints
people have moral cultural restraints

people can live apart long distances
people cannot drop life responsibilities
people cannot solve all crisis problems

therefore it is wise realistic to walk in reality
'do not expect more from people
than people are capable of giving...'

it is true 'following this advice
will reduce heartache disappointment
due to unrealistic expectations...'

but it will not
prevent heartache
disappointment

life time teaches us
people can will disappoint us
new beginnings helps us

Truth Hurts anonymous
with intentions dubious
commented on the poem

'A Well Trodden Path To Disappointment'

'Sorry Terry this is just pants. Pure pants.
As if written by a child.' the poet smiled

Truth Hurts
had been caught
with pants down

not all can perceive
simple wisdom receive
well intended advice

kindness
is a warm light
in darkness

which path will you choose
well trodden path kindness
or deceptive path meanness
