Truth Is A Three-Edged Sword Poem by Nathan Coppedge

Truth Is A Three-Edged Sword

The phrase "truth is a three-edged sword" represents an insight that whether it matters to me or not, and whether it matters to you or not, it might still matter by itself, or not.

If this last part is not true, then there might not be any truth.

However, the transcendent insight is that truth is highly independent, and does not depend directly on emotions, or not in a way that is purely emotional.

Truth, in other words, has its own contingent axis of interpretation no matter what, which has to do with what it really is, at every moment.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I had just learned how to read Japanese, and was diverted by this simple question apparently originating with a character on the television program "Babylon 5".
