Truth travels far

In a world of lies
there lies a truth
truth of nakedness
with crookedness

what we try to convey
makes others dismay
to find all excuses
and stay away

what has brought us to this stage?
is there nothing to put on the golden page?
have we truly managed with our expertise?
and surprised close and intimate ones!

truth takes a longer route to convince
lies take over instantly and evince the interest
people are easily carried away and remain a fool
lies make a cunning man successful

when you are fooled in the game
you pass the blame
and claim an innocence
but lies have proved their prominence

truth takes time e but shines
your life's goal is certainly defined
lies don't go far and meet a tragic end
what has it in the store to send?
