Tusu, The Goddess Of Harvest Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Tusu, The Goddess Of Harvest

Rating: 5.0

I saw the girls coming to
And singing the songs of Tusu,
The small-small girls
With the statue of Goddess Tusu
Into the hands
And they coming in a group
And singing the songs of Goddess Tusu
In full faith and joviality.

Women folks in the hamlets and thorps
Singing the songs all nightlong
The songs, folk songs
Without any accompaniment
The songs, songs of Tusu,
Singing and dancing,
Dancing and singing
In full rural gala and glamour.
