Twinkling Waters Poem by David Harris

Twinkling Waters

Rating: 5.0

Sitting on a bench
watching the twinkling waters
catching the light of the sun
like a thousand stars
in a nighttime sky.
Birds occasionally skim
across the twinkling waters
under the midday sun.
The world is at peace here
for every mother's son.
A breath of breeze
stirs gently the trees
and the twinkling waters
that are caressed by the sun.
