Twisting Facts Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Twisting Facts

Twisting to distort facts,
From what they are to be.
To believe them easily misinterpreted.
Does not change the truth,
For what it is.
Or the reality of it when presented.

With the appearance of evidence.

Regardless who attempts,
To manipulate facts.
Done with a selective,
And amputated memory.
Sold to envision to emphasize empathy.
Hopefully given when 'stories' are told.
