Twisting Lurching Poem by M.J. Lemon

Twisting Lurching

Rating: 5.0

That lone raindrop on
my living room window is
on a mission
first it creeps slowly gathering
speed only to
suddenly
stop
think
roll forward
then crawl so slowly
serpentine
twisting lurching
then stopping
yet again
resuming at last
cautiously pensively
for sure
it's going somewhere

I'm not

We can not only feel the lone rain drop but see it's movements too. A very special poem,

Purple Rain and Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head...both great songs from great songwriters in their reign. And just like them, you are a great writer in your vein and reign! Let than lone raindrop always be a reminder for you!

Thank you so very much, Richard, Purple Rain and Raindrops Keep Falling...You just reminded me of Purple Rain Drops, I haven't thought of Stevie Wonder in a while. Thank you for your reading, my friend.
