Two Lyrics Of Marking Time Poem by Luo Zhihai

Two Lyrics Of Marking Time

★ Two Lyrics of Marking Time

☆ Poetry by Cui Ye (? -? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Greeted color females into golden room
Fairies went out of the painting hall, too
Mandarin ducks embroidering on the brocade sleeves
On the foreheads pasting emerald and goldleaf
Singing and dancing in lines
Moved brilliant color and light

In the courtyard the flowers triflingly fell
Before the building the Milky Way had been set
The golden ring urged the night to end
Silk sleeves lightly whisked off cold
Joyful laugh in the happy feeling tone
Nearly in half, day broke
