Ugly Ducks Poem by Dorsey Baker

Ugly Ducks

The ugly ducks
were squawking
making much
too much noise
they could be heard
way down the road
erupting with that
squeaky sound
all thevoices
crashing together
irritating to your ears!
moving around
flapping their wings
a whole bunch
of ugly ducks
they were blocking
the road
and no one could get
pass them
by the way they were acting
I guess
they thought
that they
were peacocks!
