Un-Said Poem by cheryl davis miller

Un-Said

People say that most things
are better off left unsaid.
There's words we need to speak today
cause we sure can't after we're dead.

There are many thoughts and memories
that I would love to share.
But time and circumstance removed
many who would even care.

Some words should be whispered
some shouted from a mountain peak.
Some words come out softly
some are to difficult to speak.

Some folk's say to little
other's speak more than their share.
Some speak and then listen
other's are far less fair.

The world is full of voices
and of words waiting to be read.
Still people say that most things
are better off left unsaid...
