Unavoidable Sin Poem by Logan Rheinst

Unavoidable Sin

This jealousy is all i see,
it's standing in my way.
I beg it to stop, I tell it to die,
but it stays there keeping you at bay.

This feeling so natural,
this feeling so raw.
It tears me apart,
leaves me standing in awe

I wish I could go,
be free of this pain
Just let it roll by,
and wash off in the rain.

But I can't,
don't you see?
It has me in a grip,
and won't let me be

I've been devoured by my sin,
but this won't be a first.
Before, i was lost
and needed a hearse.
