Unclean Poem by Dorsey Baker

Unclean

Uncleanliness
is a place where
demons and darkness live
dirt is the high priest
and messiness
blankets the throne
come to the feast
and you don't have to
wash up before you dine
because cleanliness
is forbidden
everybody can come
because everybody is
dirty some
nobody is totally clean
uncleanliness
is a place where
the door is always open
it is a very dirty place
where everybody visits
every once in a while
it is a very ugly place
to visit
and a much worse place
to live!
