If we are together,
To witness...
A future that promises,
An understanding to accept...
Our differences to respect.
There has to be a complete,
Willingness to self examine...
We all have been blessed,
To live in a country...
Called the United States,
Of America.
At one time,
The greatest place to live.
Before a few deluded,
To believe themselves...
Superior over others.
And directed to destruct,
The face of democracy.
Fearing that face,
Would be replaced...
By an image reflecting,
America's diversity.
A diversity historically deceived.
To have for centuries believed,
A marketing of falsities...
That portrays what greatness is,
Sold to sell it for profit.
Would somehow stop,
Reality and truth from exposure!

An understanding to accept,
Takes the teaching...
Of what respect to give it is.
And that to do,
May come for many...
The most difficult lesson,
Both to teach and learn.
With successful effective results!
