Unemployment
Two hundred years way back in history
when industry was revolutionary,
the introduction of new machinery
caused a swift swing to high unemployment
in the busy mid-shires of England.
But industry's wheels still keep turning
the political flame keeps on burning,
and here we are today with hearts sincere
hoping the high unemployment rate
will gradually but surely disappear.
