Ungodly Wars - Poem by Stanley Cooper

Praying on bended knee
God loving, they claim to be
But discredit all that's taught
When religious wars are fought

God fearing
Is not war adhering
'Love thy neighbor'
Not with guns and saber

'Thou Shalt Not Kill'
God's written will
It's ours to reason why
Not to fight and die

Religious Wars…
God loving?
God fearing?
God awful!
