Show me a nation
where people come from various countries and work
yet they co-exist as one big community
respecting the emirates for its kindness and benevolence.

show me a nation
which seeks nothing from you
yet it gives you everything you seek
as years go by and time keeps swaying
the fulfillment of imaginations;

show me a nation
which makes man chase prosperity
and yet he never fails to achieve it
up to some measures of his satisfaction;

show me a nation
where people from all over the world engage
themselves on various jobs to earn their livelihood
and go on to get on to new levels
of comforts and providence;

show me a nation
which makes dreams come true
of the poor and the rich,
of the needy and the underprivileged
year after year as time keeps flying
and bringing in new aspirants and generations;

show me a nation
where laborers rush and work willingly
at construction sites in the hot sun
with a hope that they will earn enough money
to build their own homes in their native land
so that they can live with happily ever after;

show me a nation
where expatriates seek employment
so that they can give their children best education
back home and make them professionals
so that they can secure good jobs
in their own time and future;

show me a nation
which permits the uneducated and the educated
to work and prosper
as per their own skills and qualifications,
as per their own talents and experiences;

show me a nation
which accepts people without any dexterity
and yet it provides them with opportunities
to engage themselves in jobs
that will fetch them a salary
which is either suitable or sustaining;

show me a nation
where laborers rush and work tirelessly
at construction sites to build skyscrapers
yet they never stop feeling exuberant
as their salaries enable them
to provide sustenance to their poor families
back home and make them demonstrate
their breadwinner ideal so proudly;

show me a nation
where the qualified and the unqualified work
in their respective fields
to earn and maintain their families
and to create their own lifestyles
of progress which accrues a sense of self-satisfaction;

show me a nation
where qualified doctors from all over the world converge
to care for patients diligently
and they never hold or display any discernment
towards their patients whether they are rich or poor,
expatriates or nationals;

show me a nation
where tears subside and joys multiply
as the poorest person comes and works
to send money to his family
for their providence and well-being;

show me a nation
which has seven emirates standing united
in patriotism and brotherhood
and still managing a harmony
which is so appreciative;

show me a nation
where the poor and the rich stand in the mosques together
on Friday afternoons and share prayers and devotion
like brothers and comrades;

show me a nation
where camels and Arabian Oryx live together in the deserts
and the Falcon rules the skies keeping a watch
on a nation so full of kindness and generosity;

show me a nation
where compassion and empathy has no limits
as the rulers of the seven emirates encourage
and support humanity like no other nation;

show me such a nation, show me
as that nation is the United Arab Emirates!
