Unknown Poem by Jason R Tschetter

Unknown

<She opens her eyes everyday expecting to see his face
a mist of what happened that will forever she taste
cuz every night she cries
every night she dies
just watching him disappear

He left with ought a single word in his mind
a feeling that everything was going to be blind
he didn’t care and his soul left with ought abandon
but her eyes like nebulas and stars always remember
those nights when he held her like a phantom

Eyes of deepest brown they shine for only a second
he tells her one last time in his mind over and over
as the twinkle in those eyes slowly stops
He loves her with ought a further thought

Her eyes dream of him in those dream filed nightmares
kissing the past each night
taking this thought with her she hates him all the more
he left and was the only thing she cared about
but mothers and fathers will never know
his name forgotten in the blink of an eye
cuz every night she cries
every night she dies
just watching him disappear>
