Unmatterable Items Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Unmatterable Items

Likely aspects of entire lifetimes focus
on items that don't really matter.
We complain, judge, treat others unkindly,
yet, expect them to like us as we are.
They don't give the same respect back.
Dignity is left on door steps for others
to pick up and disperse.
