Unnecessary Is More Witnesses Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Unnecessary Is More Witnesses

More witnesses to need them,
To repeat unnecessarily...
A truth made to hear,
Devastatingly clear.
Will not change a false image.
Known to be that way.
Into something else already deceived.
That makes anyone believe,
To continue to delude...
Truth and dishonesty,
As if this has everlasting benefits...
Somehow will prevent,
The beginning of an epidemic.
Promising to end a way of life.
Ultimately to be forgotten,
What existed to create,
Division, racism.
And ignorance permitted!
Overwhelmingly observed enough,
To know how the doing of this...
Has corrupted the mentalities,
Of humanity around the World.
Leaving the need,
For more witnesses to this...
To prove what?
That those picked to sit,
In positions of leadership...
Based upon appearances.
And representing false images...
Claiming to be,
Rich, wealthy and wise?
Can not possibly be...
Ignorant, incompetent and fools.
Given what they have,
Not to have earned a single cent of it!
