Unregretful Poem by Randy McClave

Unregretful

Be you a friend or even a stranger
Around me there is no danger,
I don't care from where you came
In me, you'll never see any shame.
Whether you come from near or from afar
I will not be ashamed of who you are,
Towards you I will look for no blame
So, from me there is never any shame.
If you have a different belief, or color
You still indeed are my sister or brother,
No prejudice or bigotry from me will you claim
From me, you will find no shame.
If you are proud with a very boastful brag
Why should I care or even nag,
If you want to give me or someone else acclaim
From me, there will be pride and no shame.
If you are ever standing at my side
That fact from God no man could ever hide,
In you, I will see and believe the same
And in you I will see or find no shame.
If you are a different gender
To your belief I'll never ask you to surrender,
I would always be proud to know your name
In me, you'll never see any shame.
I don't care at all about your past
Or what others have broadcast,
And if you are slow minded or even lame
In me, you will never find no shame.

One day we will all stand in a line
As we all enter the most holiest shrine,
God will judge, and the belittlers will be blamed
I will then proudly say, of no one was I never ashamed.
