Unrestrained Religion And Science Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Unrestrained Religion And Science

Ban and expel the principles of religions
from the holy books scripted in barbarous times.
When they are preached or understood
in wrong context by wrong persons,
they inspire blood-lust in youths
and change the gentle folk to be furious sex-hounds.
The bearded scoundrels with political clout
run bordellos in the name of ashrams
and harbour criminals to quench their thirst.
The advanced nations with digital weaponry
coerce the weak ones to give up their lands
or a huge wealth on a silver-platter.
The terrorists or the high handed rulers,
the anti-socials or the unholy monks and priests
are the victims to the unchecked religion or Science.
