You seem so far away
And it has only been three days.
My heart aches for your love,
And my lips for your touch.
You want to give me the world
But that is entirely too much.
All I have ever needed is you
To help see me through
The rough times and the trials of mine.
I can't stand all this difficult time
Away from your near perfection.
What you make my heart do
Is no mystery to anyone,
Least of all you,
But how you make my heart stop,
How you make me catch my breath,
That is something that is left forever unsaid.
