BOB, This is an excellent poem on 'unsettled mind'! I find in it part fantasy and part reality! 'John' is the recurrent theme which links up all the stray verses like a running thread giving the poem its unity! Is John the son? I find it difficult to control my chattering mind! Even when I go to bed, at times it keeps me awake till late! 10++ -Raj Nandy

Bob this is brilliant. Do we ever see ourselves as others see us? An unsettled mind for sure, so very well written Ten from Fay.

an unsettled mind settles down to write...this beautifully touching poem, in brief, is a card to john...john, who left, not to receive this to read...the three lines commencing 'He really should not...' are painful and poetic...ten grade

Bob, if one is going to write a poem about an unsettled mind...I suggest they do it like this. Wonderful piece of writing. Best regards, Ian
